American Society of Mechanical Engineers Code Authorization

Since 1999, Dilling has been authorized by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors (NBBI) to perform work that requires documentation and stamping with specifi c code symbols to comply with professional standards established and maintained to perform work in strict accordance with the provisions of the ASME Bolier and Pressure Vessel Code.

U Stamp
U Stamp Accredits the named company as authorized to use the indicated symbol of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) for the scope of activity defi ned as Manufacture of pressure vessels at the above location (111 East Mildred Street, Logansport, Indiana 46947) and fi eld sites controlled by the above location.

The U Stamp authorization includes functions of engineering, procurement, fabrication, manufacturing, testing and certifi cation of Pressure Tanks and Vessels for a broad variety of commercial, institutional, and industrial applications.

PP Stamp
PP Stamp Accredits the named company as authorized to use the indicated symbol of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) for the scope of activity defi ned as Manufacture and assembly of pressure piping at the above location (111 East Mildred Street, Logansport, Indiana 46947) and fi eld sites controlled by the above location.

The PP Stamp authorization includes functions of engineering, procurement, fabrication, manufacturing, testing and certifi cation of Pressure Piping for portions or complete piping systems required by code to be stamped and certifi ed for a broad variety of commercial,
institutional, and industrial applications.

R Stamp
R Stamp Certifi es that Dilling Mechanical Contractors, Inc. is authorized to use the “R” SYMBOL in accordance with the provisions of the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors
(NBBI) for the scope authorized as Metallic repairs and/or alterations at the above location (111 East Mildred Street, Logansport, Indiana 46947) and extended for fi eld repairs and/or alterations controlled by this location.

The R Stamp authorization accredits the certifi cate holder to alter or repair pressure tanks or vessels previously registered and documented by NBBI that conform to ASME Code Standards, either at the location of the certifi cate holder or a fi eld location.
