Dilling conducts in-house, skilled crafts training year after year, and has for decades. The electrical and plumbing programs are recognized by the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training (BAT). Individuals are trained continuously over a four-year period.

The result is attainment of journeyman status for pipefitters, certified welders and licensed plumbers and electricians. Safety training and certification is also conducted in-house by a dedicated full-time safety staff under the direction of a corporate Safety Director.

Additional specialized training is conducted regularly for specific requirements including:

• Medical gas installation
  
• Mine Safety and Health Administration certification
